Prices

All prices are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time the order is placed. Prices may vary and may not be available in-store or over the telephone.

Although we endeavor to ensure that all pricing information on the website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be priced incorrectly. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.

Prices that are reduced for sales and promotions ore only valid for the specified period.

Orders

Orders can be placed using our online ordering system, telephone, or e-mail. Full payment is required with all orders plus the advised carriage cost.

Product Availability & Specification

Every effort is made to stock all products listed at all times. Every care has been taken to describe items correctly. No responsibility can be accepted for errors and omissions, we reserve the right to withdraw or alter specifications where necessary and without notice. All products are of good commercial quality. Any error is unintentional and will be corrected if so advised.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be e-mailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Credit Card Security

For 100% security we use Stripe to process your credit/debit card details. We do not hold these details nor at any time do we see them. This gives you complete confidence that you are purchasing from a totally secure website.

Return of Goods Policy / Refunds & Exchanges

We hope you are happy with your purchase from Midwest Lighting but should you wish to return an item, we are happy to provide a full refund or exchange within 14 days.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, if you buy online, you may return or exchange goods within 14 working days of delivery. The product must be unused and be in its original packaging, and you must contact us for approval to return the product – please email [email protected] stating which item you wish to return, the reason for which you are returning the item, and the action you would like us to take.

Returns are at the customers’ own expense. We advise you use an insured, signed for service.

All returned products will be credited to the original purchaser’s credit or debit card, excluding delivery costs, within 7 working days.

The product you return must be in new, unused condition with all the original packaging and product tags still attached. New and unused means, that there are no marks on the item or packaging. We are unable to accept any item with any indication that it was used.

All goods supplied by Midwest Lighting are covered by a manufactures warranty. If an item has failed, please contact us with the details of the product and the fault.

Shipping and Delivery

1. General

Subject to stock availability delivery time varies from 5-6 working days, to up to 4 weeks. For special order items, the lead time will be longer and our sales team can liaise with you directly to advise. From time-to-time, there may be items that are out of stock with our suppliers, and we will not be able to fulfil all your items at the time of purchase. In this instance, we will send the available products to you, and contact you about whether you would prefer to await restocking of the back ordered item or if you would prefer for us to process a refund.

Orders are picked from Monday to Friday only.

If the item(s) is(are) not in stock please allow approx. 4 weeks for delivery.

We will always do our best to deliver before the expected delivery date.

Upon receipt of your order, you will be asked to sign for the goods received in good condition. Always check your item before signing, particularly if the package does not appear to be in good condition. If you are unable to check the contents of your delivery at the point of delivery then please sign for the parcel as ‘Unchecked’. Failure to do so may affect any warranty claims you make thereafter.

You have 14 working days from receipt of goods to request a return on any items from your order. The items must be unused and in original packaging. To report any damages, please do so within 48 hours from receipt of goods. We advise our customers to check all items immediately after receiving delivery. Claims for unwanted or damaged goods cannot be accepted outside this period.

2. Shipping Fees

Shipping is Free within Ireland on orders over €100

A flat rate shipping fee of €12.50 applies to purchases that amount to less than €100

WEEE

Midwest Lighting will take back your WEEE on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis, free of charge at the time of delivery or at any one of our store(s) nationwide. Waste batteries are taken back in store on a one-for zero basis (i.e. no purchased required) as long as they are of equivalent type to that sold by us. WEEE and waste batteries can also be returned to your local civic amenity site free of charge. Never put WEEE, batteries or light bulbs in any of your bins.
